The famous storage container set for food by Wilhelm Wagenfeld. It is a design from ca.1938, an early version. All 10 containers come with a top and are almost in perfect condition. Even the tray in undamaged condition. All pieces are marked with the manufacturer´s mark of the VLG. Wilhelm Wagenfeld is one of the most influential pioneers of modern product design in Germany. Studied at Bauhaus in Weimar. After 1945 Wilhelm Wagenfeld developed into the most eclectic designer of serial products for the consumer goods industry in West-Germany. Wagenfeld was a student of László Moholy-Nagy.
